As we were browsing the great internet for awesome stuff to share with you guys, we came across these homes that are in need of some serious renovation. Have you ever passed a home and just said to yourself, “Wow, that home needs some serious makeover.” Yes, admit it, you did that at least once in your life. We have all been there, so there’s no reason to be ashamed.
These homes ranges from a posh block of flats to a Cotswold farmhouse. Nonetheless, they all have one thing in common: they need some bringing up to date.
This handsome stone barn has seen better days, to say the least. It is located in a bucolic, rural locations with views over the fields. A lot of nature lovers will love the scenery here. It is pretty derelict as it has no electrics or water directly to the house.
Ranelagh Gardens, London SW6
Come on, one look at this and you know it would have looked dated in the 1970s. It is a swanky block in a swanky postcode. All that décor and fittings are outdated, and just plain old. The residents share a porter and riverside gardens.
Gretton, near Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
For the first time in a century, this 17th-century Cotswold farmhouse is finally on the market. It is a farmhouse with stone mullioned windows, inglenooks and flagstoned floor. It’s a shame that only a quarter of an acre of its old lands remain.
What renovation and/or decorating tips would you recommend for these properties?
